I am a legal academic specialising in company law and corporate governance. The economic and social importance of the company is such that its regulation needs to be fit for purpose. Interference by the state through inappropriate regulation of companies can have serious consequences for a country and the welfare of its inhabitants. My research - some of which has been controversial - brings historical, economic as well as Christian theological perspectives to bear on the roles of business, the company and the state. The purpose of this web site is to communicate and provoke debate. The web site includes full text abstracts, articles and papers written (or co-written) by me.
